Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2023, the Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen voting-age population for South Carolina was 993,790 and represented 25.23% of the total South Carolina citizen voting-age population.

Among all South Carolina counties, Richland had the highest Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen voting-age population (148.83K), followed by Charleston (75.00K), and Greenville (67.99K).

In terms of percentages, Allendale had the highest percentage of its citizen voting-age population being Non-Hispanic Black Alone (67.10%), followed by Williamsburg (64.64%), and Orangeburg (61.47%).
