Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2017, the Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen population for Minnesota was 1,276,885 and represented 24.24% of the total Minnesota citizen population.

Among all Minnesota counties, Hennepin had the highest Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen population (133.08K), followed by Ramsey (53.36K), and Dakota (20.83K).

In terms of percentages, Hennepin had the highest percentage of its citizen population being Non-Hispanic Black Alone (11.69%), followed by Ramsey (10.73%), and Dakota (5.23%).
