Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2017, the citizen voting-age population for Hawaii was 1,016,470 and represented 71.50% of the total Hawaii population.

Among all Hawaii counties, Honolulu had the highest citizen voting-age population (707.15K), followed by Hawaii (143.22K), and Maui (115.63K).

In terms of percentages, Kalawao had the highest percentage of its population being citizens of voting-age (100.00%), followed by Hawaii (72.95%), and Honolulu (71.42%).
