Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2017, the citizen voting-age population for Tennessee was 4,916,860 and represented 74.53% of the total Tennessee population.

Among all Tennessee counties, Shelby had the highest citizen voting-age population (665.48K), followed by Davidson (483.93K), and Knox (344.31K).

In terms of percentages, Lake had the highest percentage of its population being citizens of voting-age (84.12%), followed by Pickett (81.76%), and Johnson (81.68%).
