Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2023, the citizen voting-age population for Tennessee was 5,213,590 and represented 74.63% of the total Tennessee population.

Among all Tennessee counties, Shelby had the highest citizen voting-age population (649.42K), followed by Davidson (506.14K), and Knox (369.85K).

In terms of percentages, Lake had the highest percentage of its population being citizens of voting-age (83.78%), followed by Bledsoe (83.03%), and Pickett (82.51%).
