Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2018, the citizen population for Alaska was 713,900 and represented 96.67% of the total Alaska population.

Among all Alaska counties, Anchorage had the highest citizen population (284.20K), followed by Matanuska-Susitna (101.80K), and Fairbanks North Star (97.38K).

In terms of percentages, Northwest Arctic had the highest percentage of its population being citizens (99.35%), followed by Yukon-Koyukuk (99.26%), and Dillingham (99.20%).
