Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2018, the Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen population for Indiana was 1,281,810 and represented 19.93% of the total Indiana citizen population.

Among all Indiana counties, Marion had the highest Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen population (251.66K), followed by Lake (115.10K), and Allen (41.02K).

In terms of percentages, Marion had the highest percentage of its citizen population being Non-Hispanic Black Alone (28.50%), followed by Lake (24.35%), and St. Joseph (12.88%).
