Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2018, the Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen population for Minnesota was 1,281,810 and represented 24.19% of the total Minnesota citizen population.

Among all Minnesota counties, Hennepin had the highest Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen population (136.27K), followed by Ramsey (55.78K), and Dakota (21.27K).

In terms of percentages, Hennepin had the highest percentage of its citizen population being Non-Hispanic Black Alone (11.88%), followed by Ramsey (11.12%), and Dakota (5.31%).
