Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2019, the citizen population for Alaska was 712,455 and represented 96.66% of the total Alaska population.

Among all Alaska counties, Anchorage had the highest citizen population (280.92K), followed by Matanuska-Susitna (103.97K), and Fairbanks North Star (96.95K).

In terms of percentages, Dillingham had the highest percentage of its population being citizens (99.60%), followed by Kusilvak (99.52%), and Northwest Arctic (99.35%).
