Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2019, the Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen population for Indiana was 1,287,245 and represented 19.94% of the total Indiana citizen population.

Among all Indiana counties, Marion had the highest Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen population (253.76K), followed by Lake (113.37K), and Allen (41.46K).

In terms of percentages, Marion had the highest percentage of its citizen population being Non-Hispanic Black Alone (28.53%), followed by Lake (24.04%), and St. Joseph (12.69%).
