According to the US Census Bureau Vintage data estimates, in 2011, the birth rate for Virginia was 12.69. Manassas Park city had the highest birth rate (20.12), followed by Alexandria city (18.86), and Portsmouth city (16.66) On the other hand, Mathews County had the lowest birth rate (5.36), followed by Craig County (5.4), and Lexington city (5.85).
