Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2020, the Black or African American Alone population in Florida was 3,687,332 and represented 17.08% of the total Florida population (21,591,299).

Among Florida counties, Broward County had the highest number of people who identified as Black or African American Alone (593,738), followed by Miami-Dade County (478,224), and Orange County (325,890). Gilchrist County had the lowest (641).
