Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2020, the Black or African American Alone population in Florida was 3,682,148 and represented 17.06% of the total Florida population (21,589,602).

Among Florida counties, Broward County had the highest number of people who identified as Black or African American Alone (592,723), followed by Miami-Dade County (476,336), and Orange County (326,605). Gilchrist County had the lowest (636).
