Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2021, the Black or African American Alone population in Florida was 3,719,779 and represented 17.04% of the total Florida population (21,830,708).

Among Florida counties, Broward County had the highest number of people who identified as Black or African American Alone (593,414), followed by Miami-Dade County (466,706), and Orange County (325,722). Gilchrist County had the lowest (692).
