According to the US Census Bureau estimates, in 2011, the number of deaths for Illinois was 101,615. Cook County had the highest number of deaths (39,052), followed by DuPage County (5,872), and Lake County (4,029). On the other hand, Calhoun County had the lowest number of deaths (50), followed by Putnam County (53), and Brown County (56).
