According to the US Census Bureau estimates, in 2013, the number of deaths for Illinois was 104,308. Cook County had the highest number of deaths (39,867), followed by DuPage County (5,937), and Lake County (4,318). On the other hand, Brown County had the lowest number of deaths (45), followed by Calhoun County (53), and Pope County (54).
