Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2016, there were 92,536 people that identified as Non-Hispanic American Indian and Alaska Native alone in Washington and they represented 1.27% of the total population of Washington in 2016. King County had the highest number of Non-Hispanic American Indian and Alaska Native alone population (13,199), followed by Pierce County (9,951), and Yakima County (9,144). On the other hand, Garfield County had the lowest number of Non-Hispanic American Indian and Alaska Native alone (12), followed by Columbia County (52), and Wahkiakum County (67).
