Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2021, there were 35,645 people that identified as Non-Hispanic Asian alone in New Mexico and they represented 1.68% of the total population of New Mexico in 2021. Bernalillo County had the highest number of Non-Hispanic Asian alone population (19,171), followed by Doña Ana County (2,581), and Sandoval County (2,492). On the other hand, Harding County had the lowest number of Non-Hispanic Asian alone (0), followed by De Baca County (3), and Catron County (13).

When it comes to the percentage of each county's population that identified as Non-Hispanic Asian alone, Los Alamos County had the highest percentage (7.02%), followed by Bernalillo County (2.84%), and Socorro County (2.01%).
