Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2012, there were 460,657 people that identified as Non-Hispanic White alone in Alaska and they represented 63.03% of the total population of Alaska in 2012. Anchorage Borough had the highest number of Non-Hispanic White alone population (182,983), followed by Matanuska-Susitna Borough (76,674), and Fairbanks North Star Borough (72,970). On the other hand, Yakutat City and Borough had the lowest number of Non-Hispanic White alone (244), followed by Kusilvak Borough (267), and Lake and Peninsula Borough (360).

When it comes to the percentage of each county's population that identified as Non-Hispanic White alone, Skagway Borough had the highest percentage (86.67%), followed by Denali Borough (86.06%), and Kenai Peninsula Borough (82.35%).
