Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2017, there were 3,207,163 people that identified as Non-Hispanic White alone in South Carolina and they represented 63.80% of the total population of South Carolina in 2017. Greenville County had the highest number of Non-Hispanic White alone population (347,611), followed by Charleston County (260,389), and Horry County (258,156). On the other hand, Allendale County had the lowest number of Non-Hispanic White alone (1,994), followed by McCormick County (4,861), and Bamberg County (5,180).

When it comes to the percentage of each county's population that identified as Non-Hispanic White alone, Pickens County had the highest percentage (85.92%), followed by Oconee County (84.65%), and Horry County (77.47%).
