United States Non-Hispanic White alone Population By State in 2017

Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2017, there were 197,798,321 people that identified as Non-Hispanic White alone in the United States and they represented 60.84% of the total US population in 2017.

California had the highest number of Non-Hispanic White alone population (14,670,939), followed by Texas (11,893,450), and Florida (11,384,422). On the other hand, District of Columbia had the lowest number of Non-Hispanic White alone population (256,305) followed by Hawaii (311,800), and Alaska (448,068).

When it comes to the percentage of each state's population that identified as Non-Hispanic White alone, Maine had the highest percentage (93.32%), followed by Vermont (92.83%), and West Virginia (92.23%).
