United States Non-Hispanic White alone Population By State in 2018

Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2018, there were 197,545,931 people that identified as Non-Hispanic White alone in the United States and they represented 60.44% of the total US population in 2018.

California had the highest number of Non-Hispanic White alone population (14,539,147), followed by Texas (11,909,791), and Florida (11,428,077). On the other hand, District of Columbia had the lowest number of Non-Hispanic White alone population (260,928) followed by Hawaii (308,618), and Alaska (442,901).

When it comes to the percentage of each state's population that identified as Non-Hispanic White alone, Maine had the highest percentage (93.16%), followed by Vermont (92.68%), and West Virginia (92.11%).
