United States Non-Hispanic White alone Population By State in 2022

Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2022, there were 195,894,196 people that identified as Non-Hispanic White alone in the United States and they represented 58.78% of the total US population in 2022.

California had the highest number of Non-Hispanic White alone population (13,600,763), followed by Texas (12,064,496), and Florida (11,653,845). On the other hand, District of Columbia had the lowest number of Non-Hispanic White alone population (252,459) followed by Hawaii (309,830), and Alaska (434,530).

When it comes to the percentage of each state's population that identified as Non-Hispanic White alone, Maine had the highest percentage (92.11%), followed by Vermont (91.71%), and West Virginia (91.14%).
