Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2022, there were 13,600,763 people that identified as Non-Hispanic White alone in California and they represented 34.84% of the total population of California in 2022. Los Angeles County had the highest number of Non-Hispanic White alone population (2,480,086), followed by San Diego County (1,431,304), and Orange County (1,194,702). On the other hand, Alpine County had the lowest number of Non-Hispanic White alone (748), followed by Sierra County (2,656), and Modoc County (6,497).

When it comes to the percentage of each county's population that identified as Non-Hispanic White alone, Nevada County had the highest percentage (83.3%), followed by Sierra County (82.43%), and Plumas County (82.2%).
