Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2021, there were 13,853,708 people that identified as Non-Hispanic White alone in California and they represented 35.39% of the total population of California in 2021. Los Angeles County had the highest number of Non-Hispanic White alone population (2,522,264), followed by San Diego County (1,444,236), and Orange County (1,217,252). On the other hand, Alpine County had the lowest number of Non-Hispanic White alone (799), followed by Sierra County (2,736), and Modoc County (6,630).

When it comes to the percentage of each county's population that identified as Non-Hispanic White alone, Nevada County had the highest percentage (83.69%), followed by Sierra County (83.06%), and Plumas County (82.5%).
