Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2017, there were 7,850,784 people that identified as Non-Hispanic White alone in Illinois and they represented 61.43% of the total population of Illinois in 2017. Cook County had the highest number of Non-Hispanic White alone population (2,206,134), followed by DuPage County (623,281), and Will County (440,054). On the other hand, Pulaski County had the lowest number of Non-Hispanic White alone (3,559), followed by Hardin County (3,716), and Pope County (3,811).

When it comes to the percentage of each county's population that identified as Non-Hispanic White alone, Calhoun County had the highest percentage (97.4%), followed by Shelby County (97.35%), and Jasper County (97.29%).
