Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2016, there were 7,917,531 people that identified as Non-Hispanic White alone in Illinois and they represented 61.75% of the total population of Illinois in 2016. Cook County had the highest number of Non-Hispanic White alone population (2,225,948), followed by DuPage County (628,509), and Will County (443,916). On the other hand, Pulaski County had the lowest number of Non-Hispanic White alone (3,577), followed by Hardin County (3,797), and Pope County (3,804).

When it comes to the percentage of each county's population that identified as Non-Hispanic White alone, Calhoun County had the highest percentage (97.6%), followed by Shelby County (97.34%), and Jasper County (97.31%).
