Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2020, there were 7,694,437 people that identified as Non-Hispanic White alone in Illinois and they represented 60.18% of the total population of Illinois in 2020. Cook County had the highest number of Non-Hispanic White alone population (2,190,255), followed by DuPage County (608,700), and Will County (429,235). On the other hand, Pulaski County had the lowest number of Non-Hispanic White alone (3,258), followed by Alexander County (3,306), and Hardin County (3,419).

When it comes to the percentage of each county's population that identified as Non-Hispanic White alone, Greene County had the highest percentage (96.76%), followed by Calhoun County (96.71%), and Shelby County (96.71%).
