Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2020, there were 7,654,877 people that identified as Non-Hispanic White alone in Illinois and they represented 59.85% of the total population of Illinois in 2020. Cook County had the highest number of Non-Hispanic White alone population (2,178,715), followed by DuPage County (603,522), and Will County (428,396). On the other hand, Pulaski County had the lowest number of Non-Hispanic White alone (3,211), followed by Alexander County (3,306), and Hardin County (3,429).

When it comes to the percentage of each county's population that identified as Non-Hispanic White alone, Jasper County had the highest percentage (97.15%), followed by Greene County (97.06%), and Shelby County (96.83%).
