Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2013, there were 8,087,687 people that identified as Non-Hispanic White alone in Illinois and they represented 62.72% of the total population of Illinois in 2013. Cook County had the highest number of Non-Hispanic White alone population (2,274,899), followed by DuPage County (642,272), and Lake County (451,378). On the other hand, Pulaski County had the lowest number of Non-Hispanic White alone (3,738), followed by Hardin County (3,999), and Pope County (4,015).

When it comes to the percentage of each county's population that identified as Non-Hispanic White alone, Calhoun County had the highest percentage (97.8%), followed by Shelby County (97.79%), and Jasper County (97.52%).
