Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2021, there were 7,552,375 people that identified as Non-Hispanic White alone in Illinois and they represented 59.51% of the total population of Illinois in 2021. Cook County had the highest number of Non-Hispanic White alone population (2,128,633), followed by DuPage County (595,999), and Will County (424,259). On the other hand, Pulaski County had the lowest number of Non-Hispanic White alone (3,165), followed by Alexander County (3,207), and Hardin County (3,417).

When it comes to the percentage of each county's population that identified as Non-Hispanic White alone, Jasper County had the highest percentage (97.11%), followed by Greene County (96.88%), and Shelby County (96.65%).
