According to the US Census Bureau estimates, in 2023, the net domestic migration for North Carolina was 97,264. Brunswick County had the highest net domestic migration (7,796) followed by Wake County (7,401), and Union County (6,010). On the other hand, Cumberland County had the lowest net domestic migration (-2,125), followed by Durham County (-615), and Orange County (-522).
