Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2012, among all US counties, McKenzie County had the highest net domestic migration rate (119.54), followed by Jenkins County (111.61), and Williams County (79.61).

On the other hand, Bent County had the lowest net domestic migration rate (-100.86) followed by Loving County (-99.45), and Clark County (-98.91).
