Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2012, among all US states and DC, North Dakota had the highest net domestic migration rate (15.85), followed by District of Columbia (10.82), and Wyoming (9.22).
On the other hand, New York had the lowest net domestic migration rate (-5.54) followed by Illinois (-5.51), and New Jersey (-5.22).
