According to recent data from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, the 3 U.S. states that added the highest not seasonally adjusted number of jobs to the Construction industry in February, 2005 were:

  1. California: 21,000
  2. Florida: 8,500
  3. Texas: 5,400

On the other hand, the 3 U.S. states that added the lowest not seasonally adjusted number of jobs to the Construction industry in February, 2005 were:

  1. New York: -4,900
  2. New Jersey: -4,000
  3. Pennsylvania: -3,900
