According to recent data from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, the 3 U.S. states that added the highest not seasonally adjusted number of jobs to the Manufacturing industry in February, 2005 were:

  1. Michigan: 10,600
  2. California: 5,900
  3. Florida: 2,200

On the other hand, the 3 U.S. states that added the lowest not seasonally adjusted number of jobs to the Manufacturing industry in February, 2005 were:

  1. Pennsylvania: -3,100
  2. New York: -1,100
  3. Kentucky: -1,000
