According to recent data from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, the 3 U.S. states that added the highest not seasonally adjusted number of jobs to the Goods Producing industry in February, 2005 were:

  1. California: 27,100
  2. Florida: 10,700
  3. Texas: 8,300

On the other hand, the 3 U.S. states that added the lowest not seasonally adjusted number of jobs to the Goods Producing industry in February, 2005 were:

  1. Pennsylvania: -7,000
  2. New York: -6,100
  3. Massachusetts: -3,800
