According to recent data from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, the 3 U.S. states that added the highest not seasonally adjusted number of jobs to the Total Private industry in February, 2005 were:

  1. California: 91,200
  2. Florida: 70,400
  3. Texas: 37,800

On the other hand, the 3 U.S. states that added the lowest not seasonally adjusted number of jobs to the Total Private industry in February, 2005 were:

  1. New Jersey: -5,400
  2. Wisconsin: -2,300
  3. Maine: -1,700
