According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in February, 2023, California added the highest number of jobs to the private heavy and civil engineering construction industry (8,400), followed by Texas (3,970), and Louisiana (2,877).

On the other hand, Iowa added the least number of jobs (-145), followed by Missouri (-97), and Arkansas (-91).
