According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in June, 2023, Minnesota added the highest number of jobs to the private heavy and civil engineering construction industry (2,148), followed by California (1,390), and Illinois (1,138).

On the other hand, Louisiana added the least number of jobs (-652), followed by Montana (-497), and Texas (-38).
