According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in May, 2023, Minnesota added the highest number of jobs to the private heavy and civil engineering construction industry (6,307), followed by Michigan (2,668), and Ohio (2,177).

On the other hand, Tennessee added the least number of jobs (-368), followed by Alabama (-257), and New Hampshire (-157).
