According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in January, 2023, Louisiana added the highest number of jobs to the private heavy and civil engineering construction industry (257), followed by North Carolina (169), and Georgia (117).

On the other hand, California added the least number of jobs (-6,763), followed by Illinois (-4,707), and Ohio (-3,805).
