Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2011, the Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen voting-age population for South Carolina was 889,640 and represented 26.42% of the total South Carolina citizen voting-age population.

Among all South Carolina counties, Richland had the highest Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen voting-age population (124.80K), followed by Charleston (76.10K), and Greenville (56.49K).

In terms of percentages, Allendale had the highest percentage of its citizen voting-age population being Non-Hispanic Black Alone (72.15%), followed by Williamsburg (64.57%), and Lee (63.02%).
