Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2012, the citizen voting-age population for Delaware was 655,780 and represented 72.85% of the total Delaware population.

Among all Delaware counties, New Castle had the highest citizen voting-age population (387.55K), followed by Sussex (149.48K), and Kent (118.76K).

In terms of percentages, Sussex had the highest percentage of its population being citizens of voting-age (75.61%), followed by Kent (72.95%), and New Castle (71.81%).
