Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2012, the citizen voting-age population for Kentucky was 3,238,365 and represented 74.61% of the total Kentucky population.

Among all Kentucky counties, Jefferson had the highest citizen voting-age population (543.69K), followed by Fayette (217.03K), and Kenton (117.57K).

In terms of percentages, Lyon had the highest percentage of its population being citizens of voting-age (85.18%), followed by Rowan (80.00%), and Lee (79.76%).
