Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2012, the Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen voting-age population for South Carolina was 902,495 and represented 26.41% of the total South Carolina citizen voting-age population.

Among all South Carolina counties, Richland had the highest Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen voting-age population (127.45K), followed by Charleston (76.58K), and Greenville (57.70K).

In terms of percentages, Allendale had the highest percentage of its citizen voting-age population being Non-Hispanic Black Alone (71.93%), followed by Williamsburg (64.35%), and Lee (63.30%).
