Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2013, the Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen population for Indiana was 1,251,565 and represented 19.82% of the total Indiana citizen population.

Among all Indiana counties, Marion had the highest Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen population (236.22K), followed by Lake (123.29K), and Allen (41.84K).

In terms of percentages, Marion had the highest percentage of its citizen population being Non-Hispanic Black Alone (27.69%), followed by Lake (25.77%), and St. Joseph (12.67%).
