Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2013, the Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen population for Minnesota was 1,251,565 and represented 24.36% of the total Minnesota citizen population.

Among all Minnesota counties, Hennepin had the highest Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen population (116.94K), followed by Ramsey (48.20K), and Dakota (17.30K).

In terms of percentages, Hennepin had the highest percentage of its citizen population being Non-Hispanic Black Alone (10.76%), followed by Ramsey (10.13%), and Dakota (4.48%).
