Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2013, the Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen voting-age population for South Carolina was 913,605 and represented 26.35% of the total South Carolina citizen voting-age population.

Among all South Carolina counties, Richland had the highest Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen voting-age population (130.31K), followed by Charleston (76.92K), and Greenville (59.17K).

In terms of percentages, Allendale had the highest percentage of its citizen voting-age population being Non-Hispanic Black Alone (72.60%), followed by Williamsburg (64.54%), and Lee (62.32%).
