Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2015, the citizen voting-age population for Alabama was 3,620,995 and represented 74.96% of the total Alabama population.

Among all Alabama counties, Jefferson had the highest citizen voting-age population (490.21K), followed by Mobile (307.79K), and Madison (258.79K).

In terms of percentages, Macon had the highest percentage of its population being citizens of voting-age (80.89%), followed by Coosa (79.86%), and Cherokee (79.20%).
