Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2016, the citizen voting-age population for Kansas was 2,061,775 and represented 71.14% of the total Kansas population.

Among all Kansas counties, Johnson had the highest citizen voting-age population (404.19K), followed by Sedgwick (351.62K), and Shawnee (130.50K).

In terms of percentages, Trego had the highest percentage of its population being citizens of voting-age (81.20%), followed by Smith (80.68%), and Decatur (80.24%).
