Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2017, the Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen voting-age population for South Carolina was 952,790 and represented 25.94% of the total South Carolina citizen voting-age population.

Among all South Carolina counties, Richland had the highest Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen voting-age population (139.78K), followed by Charleston (80.56K), and Greenville (64.70K).

In terms of percentages, Allendale had the highest percentage of its citizen voting-age population being Non-Hispanic Black Alone (71.70%), followed by Williamsburg (64.24%), and Lee (62.49%).
